Dr. Vijai Tivakaran specializes in cardiology with a focus on heart catheterizations, as well as ultrasounds, cat scans, and nuclear scans of the heart.
He earned his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University and his medical education from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at The North Shore University Hospital in New York. He completed a fellowship at Grandview Hospital and has been trained in all aspects of cardiology. He is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine since 2011; in Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology; and in Cardiovascular CT. Dr. Tivakaran serves as assistant professor of medicine at the Wright State University, School of Medicine
