Stacy Nagel, APRN-CNP, is a nurse practitioner board-certified in adult gerontology acute care.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio State University and her Master of Science Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Studies from Wright State University. Before coming to Kettering Health, she worked as a certified nurse practitioner at Mercy Health in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has several years of healthcare experience concentrated on inpatient care of critical care, ortho-spine, and neuroscience patients.
During her spare time, she enjoys hiking, yoga, vacationing in Hocking Hills, and traveling abroad. She loves to spend her time with her family.
What is a Certified Nurse Practitioner?
A certified nurse practitioner (CNP) is an advanced practice registered nurse. They hold a master’s or doctoral degree and have advanced clinical training. They collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat patients. Like physicians, they can make referrals, provide physical exams, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications.
