About Me
Sarah Dekoski, PA-C, is a physician assistant working in heart and vascular care with a specific focus on general cardiology.
She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies and her Bachelor of Science in health science from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. Sarah worked in heart and vascular care for over a decade, before coming to Kettering Health.
Sarah chose to become a physician assistant because she always had a drive towards science and mathematics. She also has multiple family members in various medical specialties, so it felt like a good fit for her.
Outside of patient care, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family and is devoted to her faith. She also loves reading, exercising, and coaching youth sports.
What is a Certified Physician Assistant?
A physician assistant (PA) is a licensed healthcare provider who holds a master’s or doctoral degree and has advanced clinical training. They collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat patients. Like physicians, they make referrals, provide physical exams, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications.
