Dr. Ahmad is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
His vast experience includes transcutaneous lead extraction, radiofrequency ablation, complex 3D mapping, and establishing a device clinic.
He has expertise in atrial fibrillation and performs a full range of procedures including cryoablation and robotic-guided stereotaxis.
He also offers the Watchman procedure that reduces the risk of stroke in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation. This procedure eliminates the need for long-term use of anticoagulants (blood thinners).
Dr. Ahmad prides himself in his ability to explain medical conditions and procedures in layman's terms. His patients find him approachable and feel comfortable asking questions and having their concerns addressed. He has been in the Dayton medical community for over 20 years.
