Peter DeRussy, MD, is a highly skilled internal medicine physician serving patients 65 years of age and older at Years Ahead Primary Care. He has seen patients in the Dayton area since 1997.
Dr. DeRussy cares for adults with a special focus on treating hypertension, cholesterol issues, diabetes, and multiple other acute and chronic conditions. Dr. DeRussy completed medical school at the University of South Florida in Tampa and then completed an internal medicine residency through the United States Air Force at Wright Patterson Medical Center in Dayton, OH. Prior to joining Kettering Health Medical Group, Dr. DeRussy served as an attending physician at Wright Patterson Air Force Base until 2004.
After serving an additional 12 years in the USAF reserves at the 445th Air Wing, Dr. DeRussy retired from the military in 2018 with 30 years of service. Dr. DeRussy spends most of his weekends serving our military veterans through his work at the Dayton VA Medical Center emergency room, proudly providing care since 2004.
In his spare time, Dr. DeRussy enjoys spending time with his children, grandchildren, and his lovely wife.
