Peritha Garland, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant who has worked in various specialties such as cardiothoracic surgery, trauma, vascular surgery, hospital medicine, and bariatric surgery. She focuses on promoting healthy lifestyles, education, medical treatment, preoperative, and postoperative care for patients. Peritha has many years of clinical experience, providing excellent medical care, education, diagnostic testing, and monitoring.

She completed her undergraduate education at Kettering College and earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska. Peritha is a member of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, the American Association of Physician Assistants, the Ohio Association of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Hospital Medicine.

Peritha primarily works in hospital medicine but also serves as a resource provider in bariatric surgery. In her role as a resource provider, she offers the Kettering Health Medical Group Bariatric Surgery team valuable support, ensuring we can continue to see patients without interruption when other providers need to take a vacation or personal days.
