Nicole Zeiders, APRN-CNP, is a nurse practitioner specializing in internal medicine and working with Kettering Health's hospital medicine team. She has extensive experience in adult geriatrics, acute care, diabetes, and inpatient rehabilitation. Nicole started her healthcare career in 2006 and chose to join Kettering Health to be part of a team that provides high-quality patient care from a patient's admission into the hospital, during their hospitalization, and throughout their discharge process.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kettering College in 2019, then went on to earn her Master of Nursing degree from Walden University in Minneapolis in 2022.

Nicole grew up in Syracuse, New York, and has lived in several different states, such as Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Tennessee, before settling in Dayton, Ohio. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys cooking, baking, and crafting.

What is a Certified Nurse Practitioner?

A certified nurse practitioner (CNP) is an advanced practice registered nurse. They hold a master’s or doctoral degree and have advanced clinical training. They collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat patients. Like physicians, they can make referrals, provide physical exams, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications.

A hospitalist works with your primary care physician to provide you with the highest level of care while you are in the hospital.
