About Me
Nicklaus J. Hess, DO, is a board-certified osteopathic family medicine physician with special interests in osteopathic manipulative treatment, medical education, and health policy.
Dr. Hess graduated in 2008 from Muskingum University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minors in chemistry and music. In 2012, Dr. Hess earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in 2015 at Kettering Health Dayton. He is the OU-HCOM Western Unit Clinical Assistant Dean and an OU-HCOM Assistant Clinical Professor of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.
He has served as Family Medicine Associate Program Faculty for the Kettering Health Dayton Family Medicine Residency Program. He has also contributed as a member of the Medical Executive Committee and as a past Chair of the Department of Family Medicine for Kettering Health Dayton and Kettering Health Washington Township.
Dr. Hess enjoys spending his free time with his family, listening to music, and playing saxophone in community ensembles.
