Nancy Strickland, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician dedicated to helping patients achieve their healthiest and most fulfilling lives. She provides comprehensive primary care with special interests in obesity medicine, lifestyle medicine, chronic disease management, and LGBTQIA+ care.

Dr. Strickland earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Florida. Prior to pursuing medicine, she built a successful career as a senior aerospace engineer, leading engineering teams and contributing to research, publications, and complex aircraft support initiatives. Her diverse professional background, combined with advanced degrees in engineering and years of leadership experience, brings a unique perspective to patient care and problem-solving.

Dr. Strickland chose family medicine because it allows her to build meaningful relationships with patients and partner with them throughout their healthcare journey. She values understanding each patient's individual goals and priorities, helping them make informed decisions, and supporting them in achieving the best possible quality of life, regardless of their health challenges.

Outside of work, Dr. Strickland enjoys hiking, traveling, spending time with family, and training and playing with her dog. Her love of exploration, learning, and connection carries over into her approach to patient care, where she strives to help others live active, healthy, and rewarding lives.
