Nancy Hampton-Jones, APRN-CNS, DNP, is a clinical nurse specialist specializing in hematology and oncology, working in cancer care. She has special interests in solid tumors and related conditions, blood disorders, oncology palliative care, and long-term follow-up and wellness after cancer treatment.

She earned her Master of Science in nursing-clinical nurse specialist from the College of Nursing Health at Wright State University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice-nurse practitioner from Mount St. Joseph University in Delhi, Ohio. Prior to her role with Kettering Health, Nancy worked in neurosurgery and cancer care.

Nancy was drawn to cancer care after being deeply moved by the resilience of patients facing cancer and the opportunity to serve as a source of support during some of life's most vulnerable moments. Early in her career, she recognized that oncology uniquely allows for the integration of scientific advancement with human connection, delivering evidence-based treatment while providing compassion and comfort. Nancy considers it a true privilege to partner with patients and their families and loved ones across every stage of the cancer continuum.

Outside of patient care, Nancy enjoys hiking, reading, watching sports-related films, and spending quality time with her family.
