Michelle Miller, APRN-CNP, is an acute care nurse practitioner specializing in gastroenterology. She provides care for patients across the continuum of digestive health, with particular clinical interests in acute care, wellness, and liver disease.

Michelle earned her Master of Science in nursing-nurse practitioner degree at Wright State University. Throughout her career, she has cared for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with extensive experience in gastroenterology, internal medicine, cardiothoracic surgery, and critical care.

Michelle chose to become an advanced practice provider (APP) after spending many years caring for patients at the bedsides. She wanted the opportunity to take a more active role in guiding treatment decisions while educating and supporting patients through their healthcare journeys.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her three adult children and grandchild. She is also the owner of a dance studio and has been passionate about dance since the age of three. Her commitment to creativity, discipline, and lifelong learning carries over into both her personal life and her patient care.

A certified nurse practitioner (CNP) is an advanced practice registered nurse. They hold a master’s or doctoral degree and have advanced clinical training. They collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat patients. Like physicians, they can make referrals, provide physical exams, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications.
