Marija "Maria" Bogojevic, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who specializes in critical care medicine. Dr. Bogojevic has interests in cardiothoracic critical care, humanizing the intensive care unit, and quality improvement.
Dr. Bogojevic earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Belgrade Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade, Serbia. She completed her internal medicine residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, New York. Dr. Bogojevic then went on to complete her fellowship in critical care medicine at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Bogojevic chose to become a physician because her passion for medicine is rooted in helping others and understanding the human body. In critical care, she provides patient-centered care to those facing serious health challenges, supporting patients and families with empathy, guidance, and reassurance every step of the way.
Outside of patient care, Dr. Bogojevic enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, discovering new foods, and learning about new cultures.
This provider specializes in caring for patients during their stay in the hospital, overseeing their treatment and guiding them to recovery. After you’re discharged, you will be seen by your regular specialist or primary care provider.
