She earned her Master of Science in nursing-adult gerontology from the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Jewish College in St. Louis, Missouri. Marian worked for a decade as a registered nurse in trauma, intensive care, surgery, neurology, and neurosurgery, before becoming a nurse practitioner. Prior to her role with Kettering Health, she worked for a few years as nurse practitioner in the vascular and critical care neurology area.
