Laura Adam, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician with special interests in acute and chronic disease management, women's health, preventative healthcare, and global medicine.

Dr. Adam earned her Doctor of Medicine from the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University. She completed her family medicine residency followed by an obstetrics fellowship at Ventura County Medical Center in Ventura, California, which granted her expertise in high-risk obstetrics and C-section training. Dr. Adam was formerly an assistant professor of family medicine at the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Adam became a family physician to care for patients throughout their lifetime and to train the next generation of family medicine doctors. She views patients as whole people – mind, body, and soul – and in the contexts of their families and communities. In light of this, she aims to provide healthcare that brings holistic healing, empowers patients, and renders justice so that all people can thrive.
In her spare time, Dr. Adam enjoys reading historical fiction, spending time with her children, baking croissants, and growing fiddle leaf fig trees.
