Kathleen Calderon Morales, APRN-CNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in internal medicine with subspecialties in acute care, adult care, and gerontology.
Kathleen earned her Master of Science in Nursing as well as her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in Addison, Illinois. She served as a nurse in several intensive care units before coming to Kettering Health.
In her spare time, Kathleen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, reading, and hiking.
What is a Certified Nurse Practitioner?
A certified nurse practitioner (CNP) is an advanced practice registered nurse. They hold a master’s or doctoral degree and have advanced clinical training. They collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat patients. Like physicians, they can make referrals, provide physical exams, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications.
What is a Hospitalist?
A hospitalist works with your primary care physician to provide you with the highest level of care while you are in the hospital. During your stay, you may meet one or more of our Kettering Health Medical Group Hospital Medicine team as they provide you with exceptional, around-the-clock specialized care.
