Julio Soto, MD, FAAFP (Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians), is a board-certified family medicine physician working in primary care. The American Academy of Family Physicians has awarded me this designation for showing service excellence and commitment within the field of family medicine. Dr. Soto has special interests in evidence-based medicine, chronic disease management, pediatrics, mental health, hormonal therapy, and the integration of AI/technology in patient care.

Dr. Soto earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Ross University School of Medicine in Barbados, West Indies. He served his family medicine residency at the University of Toledo. Before his role with Kettering Health, Dr. Soto worked in family medicine and was also a family medicine associate professor at Wright State University.

Dr. Soto's father was a nurse in the intensive care unit, and this was Dr. Soto's first exposure to medicine as a child. Seeing his dad work as a nurse fueled Dr. Soto's interest in the process of diseases, treatments, and constant medical advancements.

Dr. Soto was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Outside of patient care, he enjoys traveling, cooking, working out, and following the Miami Dolphins. Dr. Soto loves spending time with his family, is a supernumerary (non-singing actor) for the Dayton Opera, and is very devoted to his faith.
