Scope of Service
**Vascular Surgery**
Dr. Gilkeson performs open and endovascular peripheral vascular surgeries with a special interest in limb salvage. Arterial procedures involve the internal carotid arteries, the abdominal aorta, the internal abdominal arterial system, and all the arterial branches into the arms and legs, down to the toes. The venous system mimics the arterial system. She also performs the construction of arteriovenous fistulae and the placement of peritoneal catheters for dialysis patients.

Dr. Gilkeson is dedicated to early intervention in vascular disease to prevent loss of limb. Every toe is important. Medical management of vascular disease is her compassion with surgical intervention when necessary. Patients remain her patients lifelong.
