Jonathan Velasco, MD, FACS, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained vascular surgeon. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), which identifies surgeons who have passed a thorough evaluation of both professional competence and ethical fitness.
Board-certified physicians are credentialed by a board of their peers that has determined the provider demonstrates a high level of expertise in their field. Fellowship-trained providers have additional specialized training after their residency training that is required for a medical license.
Dr. Velasco's wife is also a physician, and they're committed to the Dayton medical community. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, hiking, running, and camping.
