Jason Burley, PA-C, is a physician assistant working in trauma surgery with special interests in acute care, street medicine, disaster medicine, and austere medicine.

He earned his Master of Physician Assistant Practice from Ohio University branch campus in Dublin, Ohio. Jason completed several clinical rotations as part of his education including rotations in emergency medicine, behavioral and mental health, general surgery, women's health, interventional radiology, internal medicine, family medicine, and infectious disease. Before his role with Kettering Health, Jason served in the Marine Corps (we thank him for his service) and worked as an emergency medical technician.

Jason chose to become a physician assistant because he wanted to help as many people as he could, along with his interest in science and passion for patient care. He always wanted to be able to help people, especially vulnerable populations.

Outside of patient care, Jason enjoys being outdoors — hiking, camping, and taking in the sights, and playing music (the banjo and the piano).

This provider specializes in caring for patients during their stay in the hospital, overseeing their treatment and guiding them to recovery. After you’re discharged, you will be seen by your regular specialist or primary care provider.
