Esther Gow-Lee Rivera, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for adults. Dr. Gow-Lee has a special interest in preventive medicine, chronic disease management, value-based care, and helping patients make informed healthcare decisions. She is passionate about building meaningful relationships with patients and delivering evidence-based care that supports long-term health and wellness.

Dr. Gow-Lee earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Loma Linda University. She completed her internal medicine residency at Kettering Health Main Campus, where she gained broad clinical experience across primary care, hospital medicine, critical care, cardiology, endocrinology, infectious disease, pulmonology, geriatrics, and other subspecialties. Her background also includes research, medical education, leadership roles, and community outreach initiatives.

Dr. Gow-Lee chose a career in healthcare because of a desire to serve others through compassionate, whole-person care. Throughout her medical training and community service experiences, she has been committed to improving the lives of patients through clinical excellence, education, and advocacy. She values listening carefully to patients, understanding their unique circumstances, and partnering with them to achieve their health goals.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Gow-Lee enjoys vegan Chinese cooking, dog training, and spending time outdoors. Whether hiking, camping, or backpacking, she appreciates opportunities to stay active and connect with nature.
