About Me
Erica Lotte, APRN-CNM, is a certified nurse midwife with special interests in contraceptive care, trial of labor after cesarean (TOLAC), labor support, and obstetric and gynecological care.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing-Nurse Midwifery from The Ohio State University. Erica worked for 15 years as a staff nurse at Nationwide Children's Hospital in the neonatal intensive care unit before becoming a certified nurse midwife.
In her spare time, Erica enjoys supporting her daughter in travel soccer and her son in band and Boy Scouts. She also loves to go on cruises with her family.

What is a Certified Nurse Midwife?
A certified nurse midwife (CNM) is an advanced practice registered nurse. They hold a master’s or doctoral degree with specialized training in Women’s Health and a concentration in pregnancy, labor, birth, and care after birth. Midwives affirm the strength of women and recognize the importance of a woman’s well-being through every stage of life. Like physicians, they can make referrals, provide physical exams, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications.
