About Me
Emily Artz (Pearson), DO, "Dr. Artz," is a board-certified family medicine physician working in primary care with special interests in chronic management in patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics; osteopathic manipulative treatment; mental health; and women's health.
She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Artz previously worked at Kettering Health as a resident at the Rural Health Center in Jamestown.
Dr. Artz chose to become a physician because she loves the art of medicine, and she says using the intellectual gifts God has given her to help people while building life-long relationships is the best job in the world.
Outside of patient care, Dr. Artz enjoys spending time with her family, reading, being active, and traveling.

Care Philosophy
I have an insatiable curiosity for knowledge, which keeps me up to date with evidence-based recommendations, and I also am passionate about patient-centered care. My office is a place I want patients to feel safe to be vulnerable without discrimination based on any aspect of their identity, ability, or beliefs. Though I cannot promise to always find a cure, I am committed to care for every person who comes to see me, in whatever way they most need, with a smile and a listening ear.
