Chantal Berning, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician working in primary care with special interests in chronic disease management, lifestyle discussions, and mental health.

Dr. Berning earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. She completed her family medicine residency at Wright State University.

She chose to become a physician because she wanted a meaningful career and to make a difference in the lives of others. She has always enjoyed science and learning. Becoming a doctor was the perfect combination of her goals.

Dr. Berning enjoys spending time with her friends and family, baking, reading, and going for walks outside. When she was in medical school, she joined an a cappella group, and she still enjoys singing for fun.
