About Me
Casey Koth, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides comprehensive primary care with a focus on chronic disease management, lifestyle medicine, osteopathic manipulative treatment, and community-based care. Dr. Koth has particular interests in osteopathic manipulation, diet and exercise counseling, and joint injections, and she values partnering with patients through shared decision-making to improve their overall quality of life.
Dr. Koth earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. Throughout her medical training, she distinguished herself through leadership, teaching, and research in osteopathic medicine, including a competitive pre-doctoral fellowship in osteopathic manipulative medicine. She has also served as chief resident at Kettering Health Dayton Family Medicine and has extensive experience teaching future physicians, conducting research, and serving underserved communities.
As a Dayton-area native, Dr. Koth chose medicine as a way to serve the community she calls home. Her passion for anatomy and biology led her to pursue a career in family medicine, where she could build meaningful relationships with patients and provide compassionate, comprehensive care. She considers it a privilege to hear patients' stories and support them in achieving healthier lives.
Outside of work, Dr. Koth enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing sand volleyball, gardening, and reading. She also loves traveling and is working toward her goal of visiting every national park, combining her appreciation for the outdoors with a spirit of adventure and lifelong learning.
