Brian Schwartz, MD, FACC, specializes in cardiology with an interest in general, invasive, and interventional cardiology. He is also active in peripheral vascular disease care.
Dr. Schwartz earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University. He is board-certified in cardiovascular diseases and interventional cardiology and has completed fellowship training in peripheral vascular diseases. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), which identifies cardiovascular professionals at the very top of their field.
Dr. Schwartz offers the WATCHMAN procedure that reduces stroke risk in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation. This procedure eliminates the need for long-term use of anticoagulants (blood thinners).
