Brandy Mullett, APRN-CNP, is a certified nurse practitioner specializing in critical care. She has interest in neurocritical care.

She earned her Master of Science in nursing-nurse practitioner from Wright State University. Prior to her current role with Kettering Health, Brandy worked in Dayton as an advanced practice provider in critical care. She worked as a registered nurse for nearly a decade before earning her master's degree.

Brandy is the ninth person in her extended family to become a nurse. She wanted to become an advanced practice provider to have more autonomy and to be able to provide individualized care while having a more direct role in improving patient outcomes. In her spare time, Brandy enjoys reading, crafting, gardening, and spending time with her dogs.

This provider specializes in caring for patients during their stay in the hospital, overseeing their treatment and guiding them to recovery. After you’re discharged, you will be seen by your regular specialist or primary care provider.

This provider is a resource provider for Kettering Health Medical Group. Resource providers offer the Medical Group team valuable support, ensuring we can continue to see patients without interruption when other providers need to take vacation or personal days.

What is a Certified Nurse Practitioner?

A certified nurse practitioner (CNP) is an advanced practice registered nurse. They hold a master’s or doctoral degree and have advanced clinical training. They collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat patients. Like physicians, they can make referrals, provide physical exams, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications.
