About Me
April Konzman, PA-C, is a physician assistant working in behavioral health with special interests in health and fitness, pregnancy, postpartum, and women's mental health.
She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Duke University. April completed her psychiatry APP fellowship at the University of Missouri in Columbia. After completing her fellowship, she then worked as a physician assistant in the psychiatry department at the University of Missouri.
April chose to become an advanced practice provider (APP) to make a positive difference in people's lives. She felt the best way for her to do that was to become a healthcare provider.
Outside of patient care, April enjoys weightlifting, running, and competing in triathlons. She also loves reading books and writing fictional stories.
This provider specializes in caring for patients during their stay in the hospital, overseeing their treatment and guiding them to recovery. After you’re discharged, you will be seen by your regular specialist or primary care provider.
This provider is a resource provider for Kettering Health Medical Group. Resource providers offer the Medical Group team valuable support, ensuring we can continue to see patients without interruption when other providers need to take vacation or personal days.

A physician assistant (PA) is a licensed healthcare provider who holds a master’s or doctoral degree and has advanced clinical training. They collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat patients. Like physicians, they make referrals, provide physical exams, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications.
