About Me
Ann Imber, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician working in hospital medicine with focuses on older adults or frail patients, complex comorbidities, high readmission risk patients, patients with limited access/support systems, and behavioral health overlap.
She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University. Dr. Imber completed her internal medicine residency at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. She worked as an internal medicine physician for nearly a decade, prior to her role with Kettering Health.
Dr. Imber became a physician because she wanted to combine science, problem-solving, and human connection to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. She's driven by the opportunity to listen, educate, and partner with patients so they feel informed, supported, and confident in their care. Over time, Dr. Imber has found the most rewarding part of her work is helping patients reach goals that improve their function, health, and quality of life.
Outside of patient care, Dr. Imber enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She values integrity and community, and she is passionate about education. Dr. Imber gets a lot of enjoyment from exploring and will give most things a try.
