About Me
Aimee Greutman, APRN-CNP, is a nurse practitioner specializing in trauma surgery.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing-Nurse Practitioner from Northern Kentucky University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Aimee previously worked as a nurse at Kettering Health Hamilton in the intensive care unit.
In her spare time, Aimee enjoys cooking, spending time with her family and her pets, which she calls her "fur babies." Entering the healthcare field as a nurse, she really enjoyed watching the care the nurse practitioners gave their patients. Their knowledge and compassion, along with seeing their work, inspired her to become a nurse practitioner.
This provider specializes in caring for patients during their stay in the hospital, overseeing their treatment and guiding them to recovery. After you’re discharged, you will be seen by your regular specialist or primary care provider.
What is a Certified Nurse Practitioner?
A certified nurse practitioner (CNP) is an advanced practice registered nurse. They hold a master’s or doctoral degree and have advanced clinical training. They collaborate with physicians to diagnose and treat patients. Like physicians, they can make referrals, provide physical exams, order and interpret tests, and prescribe medications.
