Dr. Vatner, Thank You.....two simple words and yet these two simple words "umbrella" a multitude of thanks beyond count. From the beginning of Wayne's (my husband) lung cancer making its presence known you have been with us throughout the entire treatment. We had countless questions which you answered with professionalism, knowledge, humor (when appropriate), patience, honesty, a smile, and an outstanding "bed side manner".

I want to thank you for what you did for me. Although the thought of cancer still pains me, especially after the loss of my first wife from cancer, you gave me hope and a feeling of peace as I experienced the surgery. However, when you took the time to pray for me just before the surgery, I was so grateful that you took the time to pray and ask the help of our Creator and Father, just as you were getting ready for the procedure. You are truly amazing as an individual, but as a doctor, you are a tested professional. Thank you for helping me. I will always remember you.
