We partner with schools across the region to bring groups of students onsite throughout the school year. Students rotate through a variety of departments to get a broad picture of what a career in healthcare can look like. This program requires your school to have an affiliation agreement with Kettering Health.

Nursing is one of the most rewarding careers in healthcare. With paths ranging from bedside care to specialty units like pediatrics and emergency medicine, there is truly something for every kind of person who loves helping others.
Education partners: Kettering College, located at Kettering Health Main Campus, offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While, Sinclair Community College offers both an Associate and Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Pharmacy technicians help ensure patients receive the right medications by supporting pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions. With training programs are typically short, you can enter the field quickly.

Radiologic technologists use X-ray, CT, and other imaging technology to help physicians diagnose injuries and illness. If you enjoy combining patient care with high-tech equipment, this is a highly rewarding career path.
Education partners: Kettering College offers an Associate in Radiologic Technology. Through the Kettering Health and Sinclair Academy partnership, eligible Kettering Health employees can complete Sinclair’s Radiologic Technology Program at no cost.

Education partners: Kettering College offers a 3-year Bachelor’s in Respiratory Care. Through the Kettering Health and Sinclair Academy partnership, eligible Kettering Health employees can complete Sinclair’s 2-year Associate in Respiratory Care at no cost.
Sleep technologists monitor patients overnight to help diagnose disorders like sleep apnea and insomnia. Using specialized equipment, they record brain waves, breathing, and movement so physicians can develop effective treatment plans.

Surgical technologists, sometimes called scrub techs, prepare operating rooms and assist surgeons during procedures. It is a high energy, high impact role that puts you at the center of some of the most critical moments in patient care. Programs can be completed in as little as one to two years.

Your education is an investment, and Kettering Health wants to help. Our Education Assistance Program provides upfront financial support for approved programs so you are not waiting on reimbursement.
How Do I Qualify for Education Assistance?
Employees can qualify for educational assistance once they
- Have completed at least six months of employment
- Are currently in a part-time or full-time role
- Are in good standing
- Are enrolled in a program that meets an organizational need
Funding Levels
- Kettering College undergraduate programs: up to $7,000/year (max $21,000)
- Other undergraduate programs: up to $5,250/year (max $15,750)
- Graduate degrees: up to $7,000/year (max $21,000)
- Kettering College certificates: up to $5,250/year (max $15,750 for up to four certificates)
- Non-Kettering College certificates: up to $5,250/year (max $15,750 for up to two certificates)
After completing a program, we ask that you remain with Kettering Health for six months up to two years, depending on the length and cost of your program.
