Southview Medical Center is hosting a seminar on common orthopedic and sports injuries on Tuesday, January 16 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Southview Medical Center is located at 1997 Miamisburg-Centerville Road in Washington Township, conveniently off I-675.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a mini health fair. Refreshments will be served.
At 6:00 p.m. orthopedic specialist Atiba Jackson, MD, of Orthopedic Associates of SW Ohio, will discuss treatment options to get you back to your active lifestyle. Dr. Jackson is fellowship-trained in sports medicine. He has served as a team physician for the Detroit Lions, Western Illinois University, Southeastern Iowa Community College and several high schools. His work with professional athletes and his experience as an athlete give Dr. Jackson a unique understanding of how to treat sports injuries.
