Registration is now open for Kettering Health Foundation’s 24th annual Ribbon of Hope Luncheon on October 23 hosted at Sinclair Conference Center. Kikkan Randall, an American Olympic champion cross-country skier and breast cancer survivor will provide the keynote address.
Proceeds from the Ribbon of Hope Luncheon will benefit Kettering Health Foundation’s Women’s Wellness Fund. Since 1995, this fund has helped enhance the well-being of women across the Dayton region by providing essential breast imaging services and comprehensive cancer care for uninsured and underserved women. To date, the Women’s Wellness Fund has raised more than $2.4 million and impacted the lives of more than 15,000 women.
In addition to supporting critical medical services, the fund helps meet other important needs, including compression garments, wigs, transportation, prosthetics, and prescriptions.
Keynote speaker Kikkan Randall is an Olympic gold medalist, five-time Olympian, and one of the most accomplished athletes in U.S. Nordic skiing history. She earned 13 World Cup victories, 29 World Cup podium finishes, three World Championship medals, and three consecutive World Cup sprint titles from 2012 to 2014.
A breast cancer survivor and Hall of Fame inductee, Randall now serves as executive director of the Nordic Skiing Association of Anchorage. She also advocates for athlete development through programs such as Fast and Female and remains committed to growing the sport of skiing in her hometown of Anchorage, Alaska.
