Kettering Health Network and the Preble County Youth Foundation (PCYF) swapped land that each organization owns at the site of the Preble County Medical Center, YMCA and Sinclair Community College on Washington-Jackson Road in Eaton.
Kettering Health Network exchanged 14 acres of land it owned behind the medical center, YMCA and Sinclair for 10 acres of land owned by the PCYF situated next to the network’s Emergency Center.
The Preble County Medical Center is accredited through Grandview Medical Center, a part of Kettering Health Network.
“This land swap is a win-win for the Preble County Youth Foundation and Kettering Health Network,” explains Judge Bill Dues, chairman of the PCYF. “The land we received from the network is in a good location for the future expansion of the YMCA and the PCYF.”
“We appreciate the great partnership with the PCYF, YMCA and Sinclair Community College,” says Russ Wetherell, president of Grandview Medical Center. “We are all focused on improving the quality of life of residents in Preble County. The parcel of land we received from the PCYF will offer us an opportunity for future expansion.”
Kettering Health Network will use some of the land to add a permanent medical helicopter and base at the Preble County Medical Center through a partnership with MedFlight.
