The public is invited to attend an open house at Kettering Health Network’s new $10 million, 12,000-square-foot freestanding Emergency Center in Franklin on Sunday, February 22 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Emergency Center is off I-75 at the Springboro/Franklin exit on State Route 73, next to the southbound 75 entrance ramp.
In addition to tours, the open house features a health fair that includes free health screenings.
Visitors can participate in a raffle and receive a special gift. Snacks and hot chocolate will be served, and balloon artists and face painters will provide entertainment for the kids. Children of all ages can participate in a Build-a-Bear workshop. A fire truck from the Franklin Fire Department will be on display.
The Emergency Center will open for business on Monday, February 23 at 5:00 a.m.
Kettering Health Network also is building a freestanding Emergency Department in Eaton. Construction on that facility is expected to be completed later this year.
