Kettering Health Greene Memorial is celebrating its 75th year in Xenia, a legacy marked by advancements in clinical excellence and strong community ties.
Since opening its doors in 1951, Kettering Health Greene Memorial has delivered specialized, high-quality care, even earning national accolades for its stroke program, through the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines®–Stroke Silver Plus Award and Stroke Ready designation from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care.
“In addition to excelling in the clinical space, Kettering Health Greene Memorial has built a strong local identity thanks to the remarkable team members here who take such pride in being part of this community,” said Paul Hoover, President of Kettering Health Greene Memorial and Soin Medical Center. “This is truly a special place, and we’re looking forward to the investments we’re making in this facility that will build on its legacy and continue to elevate healthcare in Xenia and Greene County.”
Kettering Health is investing more than $15 million in Kettering Health Greene Memorial, including exterior updates and improvements focused on enhancing the patient experience. These renovations are expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
The milestone also marks the 75th year that Kettering Health Greene Memorial has been a member of the American Hospital Association. To celebrate the achievement, the American Hospital Association presented the team at Kettering Health Greene Memorial with a commemorative plaque.
