Jim Lawson has transitioned into a new role as director of Finance for Kettering Health Medical Group.

Jim joined the Medical Group in 2019 as a financial analyst. Over the last several years, he progressed to senior analyst, and most recently, finance manager. Prior to joining the Medical Group, Jim held several finance and accounting roles in other industries.

“I came here in early 2019 and the team/people I have worked with since that time has been nothing short of extraordinary, and I hope to demonstrate my appreciation for all those who have helped me grow,” he said.

Jim holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Miami University of Ohio, and a Master of Business Administration from Wright State University.

Jim shared what he’s most looking forward to in his new role. “I am most excited to see the full picture of strategy and implementation across both our service lines as well as our campuses,” he said. “Additionally, I am looking forward to expanding on the relationships that I have already established as well as creating new ones across those same lines.”
