Dr. LaVelle, thank you so much for your care during this tough stage of my life. Your use of humor and intelligence makes me feel very comfortable. I truly believe with your help I can weather the storm. Your team in Troy including all the staff have been a source of comfort. Being heard is so very important, and you Dr. Lavelle have checked that box. God gave us all gifts in different ways, but you were meant to help support, care, and create friendships with people that need guidance with health issues. I am so grateful that Dr. Sawmiller and Dr. Tuttle chose you to work on a dream team. Thanks again for being one in a million!

Had Dr. Carolyn Bailey for 40 years, who was wonderful; then she retired 12/31/2017 so we had to doctor shop! In searching we came up with Dr. Leah Avera, MD. We were on her waiting list for 14 months!! Well, it was certainly well worth the wait. We thoroughly checked her out. We read all of the 4–5-page reviews and there was not even 1 negative review on her. We stopped in at her office, then on Summit to make an appointment with her, but she wasn't taking new patients at that time. They called about 12 months later and asked if we wanted to schedule with another doctor. We said NO, we'll wait for her! She was a 5* rating & still is. We were so glad to find her. Dr Leah is an extremely kind and very caring physician. We know she won't lie to us or sugar-coat anything! She can and has answered our questions either in person or via e-mail and she knows who to refer us to if we need a specialist. We figured we wouldn't find a good physician to replace Dr. Bailey, but we were wrong! Dr Leah is a great replacement, and we love having her for our family physician; we totally appreciate you Dr. Leah!! She totally listens to us and gives us her full attention.
