Dr. Johnson if it wasn't for you and your teams expertise I wouldn't be alive today. On March 19th, 2019 you gave me life back to me. Having dealing with Ulcerative Colitis for over 10 years, medications were out of my ability to pay and the ones that I could afford, wasn't working any longer. My disease got to the point where I was declining fast. After my first appointment, we discussed my options. I decided a colectomy was the best decision. My surgery was scheduled within a couple of weeks. You instructed me to drink a meal supplement along with other food that I could tolerate to gain strength. Then on March 19th you and your team performed a 10 hour surgery. You told my husband and myself that my other organs were very 'angry' and that it would take time for me to heal. I healed very well and quickly and I had my life back! I no longer look for every bathroom in the places we frequent. I don't consider my appliance that I wear 24/7 as a burden but a blessing.
Thank you again. If you remember, on my post op appointment I told you that your Mother has to be so proud of you and the people you help.
