We consider ourselves blessed to be cared for By Brandan Wheeler and his entire staff. There have been numerous times that we have faced challenges with our health. Everyone is understanding, caring and professional. Brandan acts immediately and handles the situation in a very quick fashion. We have seen many specialist etc. I immediately turn back to Brandan if something doesn't feel right with a specialist. He takes charge and handles the situation ASAP. I want to thank all my wonderful doctors at Kettering Health but especially Dr. Heather Riggs, the captain of my oncology team. From the day we met last August she has clearly expressed her plan of action to treat my unusual cancer. She studied my history, asked lots of questions, ran tests, communicated with my old doctors and their team of specialist back at the University of Virginia. Her professionalism, care and listening inspire confidence and hope. Dr. Riggs has recommended several other specialists to address a multitude of conditions and issues I am dealing with. Her smile, intelligence, treatments, advice and compassion comfort me.
