“In a world that takes first responders for granted, we want to create a conference where they are celebrated, honored, and loved.”
Join local first responders of faith at the Heroic Deeds: Responders in Faith Conference, March 18-19 at SouthBrook Christian Church, 9095 Washington Church Rd. in Miamisburg.
This two-day conference will include worship, guest speakers, and breakout sessions such as “Relationship Bootcamp,” and “When Helping Hurts: The Silent Epidemic of Trauma Among First Responders,” aimed at helping first responders and those on the frontlines “connect to their spirituality in a healthy way… reach their full potential in God, find healing, and impact their world for Christ.” Tickets also provide entry to a comedy show by national comedian Vinnie Montez.
The event is open to all traditional first responders (such as law enforcement, dispatchers, EMS workers, and firefighters) and their spouses, as well as those in support roles like chaplains and counselors.
Non-first responders can purchase tickets to Vinnie Montez’s show, which includes a dessert bar and coffee, here. Proceeds from these sales will support the mental and spiritual well-being of local first responders.
