Kettering Health Network’s Healthy Women Conference 2019 is focusing on making women in the Miami Valley healthier. The event kicks off on Sunday, October 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Schuster Performing Arts Center in downtown Dayton.
This year’s keynote speaker is Anita Adams-Jenkins. Adams-Jenkins is the president of Sycamore Medical Center. In her talk, “Why Wait to Live Your Best Life!”, Adams-Jenkins will discuss maximizing talents, gifts and tools that we have, learning from past experiences and self-improvement.
The Healthy Women Conference is devoted to women and will focus on how a balance of mind, body and spirit factors into a woman’s whole health. The conference will include, health tips, exercise sessions, lunch provided by Elite Catering, door prizes and break-out sessions including:
- Managing Migraines
- Talking to Kids About Cancer
- Exercising Through the Decades
- Mammograms & More: Early Detection at Every Age
- Getting Better Sleep
- Knowing Your Cancer Risk
