Everyone was so kind and supportive during what could have been a stressful and scary procedure, your compassionate and upbeat attitude made me feel safe and confident. It almost felt like a spa day as opposed to a medical procedure! The nurses and Dr. Alliu are a great team and I am very grateful for all of you!

We had Courtney twice during our longer labor with Lawson Haggard. She was such a great light during that vulnerable and painful time. She was compassionate and did everything she could to make my labor better. I don’t think our time at Kettering would have been as great if she wasn’t there. Getting to have her twice was a blessing. Thank you for all you do Courtney!

I was at Kettering for a surgery. It was my first surgery so I was naturally nervous but Nurse Skip made me feel comfortable! My surgery time got moved back and he updated me as soon as possible and was ready to grab anything to increase my comfort. I’ve been telling everyone about the OR team and my experience. Everyone made my first surgery not so scary and I’m beyond appreciative.

After many hours of labor with little progress, Karen came in at the beginning of her shift and immediately changed the atmosphere. Throughout the night, she showed exceptional care and compassion and was willing to do whatever it took to make me as comfortable as possible and to get me to progress in order to deliver. I truly don't think I would have had the outcome I did without her care, and I am forever grateful to her dedication throughout the night. She truly is one of a kind, and words cannot express my gratitude.

We would like to recognize Cindy at our daughter's pediatricians office for her extraordinary care she has provided for us! Over the last 6 months or so, we have been on a journey to determine what our daughter has been experiencing as it relates to blood sugar issues. Cindy has remained persistent in the pursuit of helping us find answers and has dedicated herself to our daughters cause! She had contacted the hospital to obtain blood work, followed up with her pediatrician, contacted us just to see how Syerra is doing and has remained our support all along the way! Cindy is the definition of going above and beyond for her patients. Thank you Cindy for being Syerra's advocate, for supporting us in a time of uncertainty, and for being a guiding light to all those who have the pleasure of interacting with you!

I would like to thank Jami so much for all help during my recovery from my hysterectomy. She is always there to answer my question and make sure I'm ok. The first week was rough and she was there to help. I went to my post op appointment on June 30th and she ensured that if I needed anything she would be there to help. She is such a sweet woman.

Amanda has been the absolute highlight of my mother's stay at Kettering Hospital. A warm smile and an in-depth understanding of the situation we were facing, along with the ability to explain it to us clearly. My mother's medication was delayed right before her discharge, potentially causing her to stay for the rest of the weekend. This was not something that we took lightly, my mother was nearly in tears. Amanda went above and beyond. Going so far as to even stay beyond her shift to ensure a night dose could be administered, and that the pharmacy would have the medication in stock and ready to go the next morning. Not only did she prevent another two days in the hospital, she also made the recovery coming out of the hospital so much easier to manage. Truly an amazing person. The world would be so much better off if we had a few more people as caring as Amanda.

All of my nurses were amazing but this particular young lady I feel went above and beyond to make my stay very pleasant. We had personal deep relating conversations of recovery for my surgery and for my personal drug and alcohol recovery. She took the time to tell me she was proud of me and to listen to me talking about my recovery. I never felt judged or looked down upon. In fact I thought the total opposite. As I said she told me on many occasions she was proud of me. This was a very good feeling since I barely know this lady. She was hilarious and made me laugh. Very bubbly personality. I think she is an amazing nurse.
