Sycamore Medical Center is hosting a seminar for people interested in learning about how to end hip pain on Wednesday, September 7 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sycamore Medical Center is located at 4000 Miamisburg-Centerville Road/Route 725 in Miamisburg between South Alex Road and South Gebhart Church Road.
The event begins with a mini health fair from 5:00 to 6:00. The health fair features blood pressure checks, nutrition and exercise information, and a wheel of health. Light refreshments will be served.
At 6:00, Michael Welker, MD, will discuss treatments—both surgical and non-surgical—to help people suffering from hip pain due to arthritis or injury. Dr. Welker is an orthopedic surgeon with Far Oaks Orthopedists. He specializes in orthopedic medicine with an interest in primary and revision joint replacement, trauma, sports medicine and anterior and posterior hip replacement.
