Sycamore Medical Center invites you to register now for fun activities and food while picking up some safety tips for you and your family. The hospital is hosting a Public Safety Fair on Sunday, June 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sycamore Medical Center is located at 4000 Miamisburg-Centerville Road/Route 725 in Miamisburg between South Alex Road and South Gebhart Church Road.
Kids of all ages can explore emergency vehicles including a fire truck, MedFlight medical transportation helicopter, Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) and K-9 Unit.
Dayton Dragons mascot Heater will be on hand to greet fans.
Disney Junior Channel’s Doc McStuffins is another featured guest. The character is a 7-year-old girl who can “fix” toys, with a little help from her stuffed animal friends.
A stuffed animal clinic will be open during the event. Kids can bring a sick or injured stuffed toy to the clinic to be examined by a doctor.
The event also features a Health Fair where you can visit educational displays and get answers to your healthcare questions.
A balloon artist, face painting and other entertainment will be provided.
The public can enjoy a picnic-style cookout free of charge.
