Each summer, the Sports Medicine Department holds an appreciation picnic before fall sports begin. The teams got together for a team bonding day before their schedules are packed with practices and games.
This year, they competed in “Athletic Trainer Olympics” with a series of activities related to their work.
Some events they created and played were
- Tape rolling slingshot
- Tape tearing
- Blind fold ankle taping
- Three-legged crutch race
- Cooler lid frisbee toss
The picnic was a way for the Sports Medicine Department to show its appreciation for our athletic trainers, who work long hours and dedicate a lot of time to others.
