Soin Medical Center is hosting a seminar for people interested in learning more about midwives. The seminar is scheduled for Thursday, December 6 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Soin Medical Center is located at 3535 Pentagon Blvd. in Beavercreek.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with refreshments followed by a tour of Soin’s maternity unit.

At 6:00 p.m., our certified nurse midwifes will discuss how you can have an empowered birth experience with midwifery services. Midwives provide natural birth experiences as well as pharmacologic pain management.

They provide full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care for women from puberty through menopause, including well-woman gynecologic care, family planning consultations and contraception, pre-conception counseling, and pregnancy and childbirth care.
