Soin Medical Center is hosting a seminar on common wrestling injuries and conditions on Thursday, November 16 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Soin Medical Center is located at 3535 Pentagon Blvd. in Beavercreek.
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a mini health fair. Refreshments will be served.
At 6:00 p.m. Kyle Ott, MD, a non-surgical sports medicine physician, will talk about whether pain and stiffness associated with wrestling could be soreness or an injury. Dr. Ott wrestled in high school and college. He was a member of the University of Illinois wrestling team which won the Big Ten crown for the first time in 53 years. He also served as an assistant wrestling coach at West Virginia University.
