Richard Manchur, president of Southview Medical Center, part of Grandview Medical Center System, has been named the new President of Grandview Medical Center. He will succeed Rebecca Lewis who has served as President of Grandview Medical Center since 2017. Lewis is retirng at the end of the year.

“We are so grateful for Becky Lewis’ many years of outstanding service to Kettering Health Network and the Dayton community,” says Terry Burns, chief executive officer of Kettering Health Network. “Becky has put her heart and soul into improving patient experience and enhancing collaboration among hospital physicians and staff. She also built strong community partnerships, especially in the West Dayton community.”

Manchur has served as Southview Medical Center’s president since May 2017, where he has overseen all health-related services, including patient experience, culture, financial growth, quality and safety. Under Manchur’s leadership, the hospital this year began construction on the addition of two large operating rooms (ORs) to accommodate increased surgery volume and allow for different kinds of surgeries.

Manchur joined Kettering Health Network in 2008 as director of Grandview Medical Center’s Operational Design and Strategic Support. In June 2015, he was appointed vice president of Grandview’s Ancillary Services, where he was responsible for daily operations of inpatient and outpatient clinical services.

“Richard has been an exemplary leader at Southview Medical Center,” says Burns. “He brings to Grandview a spirit of collaboration with physicians, nurses and staff. He also will continue to work closely with our partners in West Dayton and the region to make sure the entire community has access to quality health care.”
