Kettering Health On-Demand Care now offers virtual telehealth visits.
On-Demand Care virtual visits became an option for established primary care patients in February 2023, but are now available to the public. Telehealth is a great option for same-day care appointments that do not require an exam.
Appropriate reasons for a virtual visit include
- Allergies
- Pink eye
- Sore throat
- Simple bladder infections
- Vomiting and diarrhea
- Rashes
- Headache
- Constipation
- COVID-19 concerns
- Cough and minor respiratory conditions
Virtual visits are not appropriate for symptoms that require a physical exam, injections or procedures, lab testing, or prescribing of controlled substances. Employees or patients interested in booking an On-Demand Care virtual visit can do so online here.
